Revenge Sleep
Email t.irons@fe26mgmt.com with questions, bugs, or feature requests. A real person reads it, and you should hear back within a couple of days.
If you're reporting a bug, your iPhone model and iOS version help a lot.
Revenge Sleep doesn't count down to your event — it counts down to when you have to wake up. It subtracts the time you need to get ready and the time it takes to get there. A 6:30 AM call with 30 minutes of prep and a 10 minute drive means a 5:50 AM wake-up, not 6:30.
You can change both amounts in Settings under Wake-up buffer.
iOS decides when widgets and background refreshes are allowed to run, and it is stingy about it — especially on Low Power Mode or when the app hasn't been opened in a while. When the widget's information is more than an hour old it says so, and opening the app refreshes it immediately.
Making sure Background App Refresh is on for Revenge Sleep (iOS Settings → General → Background App Refresh) helps but doesn't guarantee anything. That's an iOS limitation, not a setting we can override.
Revenge Sleep reads your iPhone's own calendar database, which includes any Google account you've added in iOS Settings → Apps → Calendar → Accounts. If your Google calendar isn't added there, the app can't see it.
Also check that Calendars is switched on for that account, and that calendar access is granted to Revenge Sleep in iOS Settings.
It needs location permission, and it needs a destination it can find. Check that the event has a real address, and that location access is allowed in iOS Settings → Revenge Sleep. If a route can't be calculated, the app falls back to the default drive time you set yourself.
Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore purchase, making sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. Revenge Sleep Pro is a one-time purchase, so it stays unlocked on every device on that account.
There's nothing to cancel. Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Nothing renews and you won't be charged again.
Revenge Sleep has no server, collects nothing, and has no analytics. The full details are in the privacy policy.
